Treating leishmaniasis (Aleppo boils)

Leishmaniasis is a skin condition caused by parasites transmitted through the bite of a sand fly. The two main types of the disease in Israel are leishmaniasis “major” and leishmaniasis “tropica”.

Its symptoms are painful festering lesions on the skin also known as “Aleppo boils”.

The treatment of leishmaniasis and the duration of the healing process vary according to the size of the lesion, its location and the patient’s medical history. Treatment combines medications, injections through the vein and directly to the lesion, burning the lesion with liquid nitrogen and more. Treatment duration ranges between one week and several months.

Using the Oxypro technology and the Health Cream ointment for treating leishmaniasis can be effective in two ways:

  1.  As palliative care in conjunction with conventional treatments: the Oxypro technology does not contradict any other treatment and assists in shortening healing time, reducing pain and infections and vanishing the scars.
  2.  As a single treatment: in cases of treatment failure, it is possibly to use the Oxypro technology by itself. Even without any other intervention, the treatment can be as effective, and excellent results can be achieved just by using the Health Cream ointment and the Oxypro technology without any additional treatments.
